Brian McKeever started playing guitar in 1981 at age 11. His Dad had an acoustic guitar and Brian became interested then. Early influences included Jimi Hendrix, Randy Rhodes, Jimmy Page, and David Gilmore. He started taking lessons in 1983 and learned Rock, Jazz, and Classical. At age 16, Brian began playing professionally in bands and main bar circuits for cover bands. He became a guitar player in studio sessions in New York and later in Los Angeles, playing on independent artist records with other sessions musicians like Steve Vai and Chicago.

He spent the last 10 years studying all different styles of music to broaden his spectrum, including styles like from the 20's and 30's eras, Bebop, Country, Celtic, and others.
Brian has performed with members of Jimi Hendrix, Chicago, Steve Vai, American Idol, Ritchie Blackmore, Psychedelic Furs, Men At Work, Pete Best (1st Drummer for Beatles), Edwin McCain, Enrique Iglesias, Queen, Trisamberian Orchestra.
