A magnificent mouse named Max
Was famous for playing the Sax 
He was Joyful and hearty and
He went to Parties where
He played in colourful slacks.

A fabulous flea named Sue
Played the flute like no-one you knew!
It went all 'round the place
In a beautiful case
Where it did all the things that flutes do

The music filled your glasses and the
Music filled the summer air
A lovely moment passes as the
Music steals your cares.

A pussy cat named Simone
Was terribly good at trombone,
She went with her maid and was
Handsomely paid,
Cos her talents were so widely known

The piano was played by a hare!
The charming Jean Pierre,
He played Handel and Bach
Just for a lark
Even if no-one was there!

The music filled your glasses and the

A lovely moment passes as the

The stage was set with flowers
The audience queued for hours
People stretched out the door
As they listened in awe
To such wonderful musical powers

Margarita the Cockatoo
Listened the evening through
Her night was complete
As she danced on her feet (cos she)
Felt she was Queen of the Zoo.
