I saw 3 pickups driving by
On Christmas day, On Christmas Day
I saw 3 pickups speeding by
On Christmas day in the morning

And what was in those pickups 3
Speeding away, speeding away
And what was in those pickups 3 
On christmas day in the morning

The vigin Mary and Christ where there
They looked real scared, they looked real scared
The Magi prayed that they'd be spared
On Christmas day in the morning

Some yahoos thought it would be fun
To raid the square and take what's there
They crammed the whole nativity
In pickups 3 in the morning

They thought there'd be some figurines
A plastic scene, upon the green, 
But this year there were real life folks
Dressed in cloaks in the morning

You'd think that it would cause them pause
They'd be alarmed they'd come to harm
But not the brightest  were this crew
Such low IQ every morning

So now they're in a high speed chase
The sirens wail, the squad cars trail
The shepherds in the pickup bed
Think they'll be dead this morning

There's sheep and straw bales falling out
Along their route, Scared shepherds shout
The camera crews are on their way
the film will play Christmas morning
or There's choppers, squad cars, and the press
What a mess Christmas morning
