A nice long bed follows where an announcer can introduce the Pastor and the weekly message. That is the goal of this particular piece. It was originally written for Calvary Chapel in Pine Grove CA where it is still used in rotation. The music is very inspired by the band "The Cars" from the 80s. Once it gets going it has its own personality entirely. The reason we did this was to speak directly to the 20s 30s 40s and 50s crowd that love that classic 80s music. We intentionally stayed clear of the syrupy sweet CCM style or the new Alternative influenced style of CCM music. Both of those pose a potential problem alienating the ears of older folks. When music goes outside the walls of the church it needs to speak to all ages. That was the goal here and I think we met it. It is my sincere hope that it will your church minstry as well
