A graduate of Birmingham Conservatoire in England, Rik Roberts studied composition with renowned Anglo-Indian composer John Mayer and British composer Andrew Downes. He is comfortable across the board with different genres, but he has been particularly successful with World Music. Rik has a strong interest in Indian, African, Spanish, South American, and Celtic, as well as Roots Music in general.
Rik Roberts' music has been used in documentaries, radio, TV, and online commercials and has been included on many commercial compilation albums and playlists. He has also used his original compositions and arrangements on two albums in his own name. Rik regularly performs his music as a concert Classical/Spanish guitarist.
