Hattie Wilcox is an artist, songwriter and composer born in Raleigh, North Carolina, raised on Chopin, Debussy, Hillbilly and Soul. These influences are in her blood and sure do sneak into her music. Hattie sings and writes her first love--the Blues--and her new CD Red Bird Tattoo was recently released. Her song "The Leaving" with fiddle instrumental appears in Stimulus Films "The Leaving." A fiddle instrumental version featuring Wanda Vick appears in "Grilling Bobby Hicks" film and soundtrack.
