Russian-born composer Dmitry Lifshitz, now living in Israel, presents beautiful and dramatic music which has been used as soundtracks for feature films and in animation, short films, documentaries, TV shows and commercials. His creativity today encompasses multiple instruments, synthesizers and samplers. From the airy piano piece "Sensitive" to "Istanbul," dark, mysterious and atmospheric -- to "Police Act" with intense drama, police sirens and mayhem -- Lifshitz's talents could enhance any production.
In addition to composing for many media projects, as shown above, Lifshitz has written music recorded by his fellow Russian artists. His interests are both inventive and diverse. As a youth, he played Vivaldi Concerto A minor for Two Violins at music school while by night he played guitar in a punk band Pot of Honey. His creativity today shines through on the great music, SFX, stingers and loops on our site -- over 240 tracks here and growing!
Dmitry Lifshitz was born in USSR in 1975 in the small town of Serov (Ural). He studied the violin in music school, and moved to Israel in 1992. As a side note, Dmitry is currently a member of the Yiddish Metal band called Gevolt.
