since she turned out her light 
in his upstairs room.
Like Ahab’s hunt to kill the beast 
is he drawing a line with his silver spoon.
He always knew it, he simply screwed it,
while she is out painting the town again
hanging around with her new best friend.


So what is going to save you now,
a new Dan-CD or a girl somehow?
Bebop business or your funky fret,
or is there anything he didn’t get?


Tonight he’s out at some DJ-star
with the funky girls from the Luna Bar.
Paul’s new girlfriend knows the place, 
she’s a techno-teenie from outer space.
„Say, who’s that Fanny
who wants to get to know me?“
„She’s another flower in your neighbour’s bed
