It’s what we do.

We kill the weak to get stronger.

Do what it takes to be better.

Step on the slow to get faster.

There has got to be a pearl inside of this empty world.

And inside of an empty world it’s just friction.

There’s crazy Joe that homeless man, led by the bottle in his hand.

We sound the horn to get a laugh and watch him stumble down his path.

What do we keep looking for if sympathy is such a chore?

But can we really expect more than what we gave?

Next time the slow one’s in your way.

Next time that man is stumbling.

Remember that his condition is not his mistake but misfortune.
