Holy Moly is a five piece Texas-based band whose music ranges from rowdy, high-energy Cowpunk to gentle Country crooning. They've toured the US and Europe, opening for Bowling for Soup, Junior Brown, Lee Rocker of the Stray Cats, Reverend Horton Heat, and Bob Schneider, and they recently made their headlining debut at Billy Bob's Texas and set records for advance ticket sales. Holy Moly's instrumentation features upright bass, thundering drums, pedal steel, Hammond organ, and acoustic guitars, all backing up Joe Rose's unmistakable voice.
Holy Moly has received multiple Fort Worth Weekly Music Awards, including 2009 and 2012 Album of the Year, 2011 and 2012 Best Live Band, 2012 Song of the Year, and 2011 Best Bassist. They have also performed across the US and Europe, appearing on television on News Eight Daybreak and as a part of the Chevy Music Showcase North Texas.
