Currently based in New York, Producer and Singer-Songwriter Hugh Colocott hails from England, where he played in a variety of different groups before signing to RCA Records in 1994 with the band ME. Writing in the Pop, Rock, and Country genres, he has placed songs on Major and Indie record labels in the US and overseas, and his songs have been featured in TV shows like Beverly Hills 90210, Prom Queen, Melrose Place, Living Lohan, Life with the Kardashians, Plain Jane, and Degrassi: The Next Generation. Hugh’s music was also placed in the Disney animated film "Santa Buddies."
Hugh Colocott's song "Bad Habit" was recorded by the band "Superhero" for their debut record on Universal Records in Europe. His song "So Long Goodbye" went to #32 on the Nashville Country Charts, and Shelby Horner (Reptile Records/TBG Entertainment) recorded his song "None Of The Above." In Germany, he had the single "One Heart" on German movie star (Das Boot) Ralf Richter’s record "One Heart." Hugh also had 3 songs in the Warner Brothers movie "Utopian Society," and his songs have been featured on the shows All My Children, The Young And The Restless, NBC Sports “The Dew Tour, ” Atlanta Braves Baseball, and he had the theme song (“I Wanna Sell Out”) on the Fuse's show The PA.
