US-artist Kier Byrnes is a founding member of the Alt-Country pioneers, Three Day Threshold who is referred to as “The Godfather of the Americana music scene” by The Weekly Dig. His music has flown him all over the globe including an inmate only show at a Belgian prison, a concert in an airplane hangar in Honduras, a private show Jim Beam in Kentucky, and the Country Music Hall of Fame. He’s played shows on four continents and has opened for dozens of national acts like The Avett Brothers, Zac Brown, Old Crow Medicine Show, and Dick Dale.
When he’s not performing, Kier Byrnes (Three Day Threshold) is the Director of the Robsham Theater Arts Center at Boston College. His running club “The Kier Byrnes Freedom Runners” and his charity concert series has raised over 100K for charity in the past eight years. Three Day Threshold is the winner of "Best Local Band" by Boston Magazine. The song is about finding the perfect girl. The theory is to do atet, you must narrow down the choices of women out there by dating a lot of them. This is meant to be a fun song about the greatest of all American summer holidays, the 4th of July! Its a bit goofy and totally out of character compared to the other songs we have done but it has a catchy chorus. The song is meant to sound a bit "gangsta-rap" but is totally family friendly.
