Joining us from Austin, Texas, Dr. Zack Varner is a dynamic composer creating music in a variety of styles and settings and whose works include elements of Jazz, Blues, Pop, Rock, and Folk, as well as symphonic and chamber music facets. Music critic Jeremy Steinberger has lauded Zack's compositions as "rife with boundless invention." As an internationally recognized solo artist, Zack has performed with his quartet at the Copenhagen Jazz Festival, the South by Southwest Music Festival, and the Santo Domingo Jazz Festival.
