When I fell sick, friends came quick
I couldn’t believe my eyes next week no trick 
The post man in one day made two trips
stacks so thick who could believe this
So many friends had so much to say
Some were close some I had let drift away
But they came back in my life that day
to help me through my times of dissaray

I couldn’t fly so I hopped on the freeway
In a cab with a cabbi named Jose
And I ain’t playin neither that was really his name
Told him I was goin home goin to stay

LA to philly 3 nights 4 days

Sometimes my health held me ransom
back in 05 my body threw a tantrum
for an emcee havin two bad lungs

did with the pen among men I’mma champyun
can’t stop til my master plans done
along the path these obstacles held me back
but I ain’t one to be goin out like that

A lot of tears lotta pain this past May
A young friend passed on like a summer day
I showed up with flowers on mother’s day
I just gotta a card this is what his mother say
“I lost a son and now I have gained one
not knowin it you symbolized my son”
I choked up when she said what I’d done
things that mean a lot in life are the simple ones
One of many memories kept in my heart
To those here, those passed, and those afar
I thank you all cause you all played your part
And what ya did for me I wish I could for yall
Each of you made it a little le-less hard
added up made things not so hard at all
