Came into my world,
so intent so smart so new.
You were relentless you were determined.
And I was taken in

You were so charismatic
so sexy so seductive.
You were persuasive
and you were hypnotic.
So dark and strangely beautiful
and I, I  was taken in.

I lost at keeping you at arms length and I -
I Lost the need to be strong and independent.
I lost the need to find the words because I -
I was taken in

You became my lover,
took away the need to suffer.
Became my manipulator
and my father figure
You became coercive
and so damn clever.
Twisted my argument through storm I couldn’t weather.

I lost my placement as the ground fell away from me.
I lost my certainty of who I as supposed to see.
I lost the need to find the words because apparently
I never think.

Of course I never cut my hair
or do anything on your side of frantic.
You shut me down but won’t cut me loose.
I’ve lost all my fight, my status.
You fabulous freak of nature,
it’s a surface they all admire.
But when you close the door and turn off the smile
