Another worthless interview
Just another Hollywood mo--gool		
A kidnapped baby's momma cries			
And a twinkle in the anchor's eye	
If I'm stuck with Scarecrow and Auntie Em
I’m turnin’ the channel and swearin’ off CNN

This just in, it’s breakin’ news
But I’m not sure who they’re talkin’ to
Must be bad—but wait what’s that?
They’ve rescued some lady’s cat
And if it’s back to reruns on PBS
Yeah I’ll survive, I’m swearin’ off CNN

I'll buy the paper once a week
And check the ads for somethin' cheap
I'll get my news from the internet
It's all too crazy, I'm swearin' off CNN

My sis has cancer, found it last fall
Came from nowhere, but Doc got it all
Johnny's boy limped home from Iraq
Now that's reality, tell the cable guy don't come back
(Yeah I'm serious now and then)
