I'M GOIN' TO COLORADO FOR CHRISTMAS

I was wondering  what to do  about this Christmas
Should I take  a vacation  this year
When it finaly came  to me
I was crawling  on my knees
I think it's time  for me  to quit  drinking beer

And so I'm  going to Colorado  for Christmas
Where it's legal  to be  a mile high
Gonna lay down in the snow
And take a real big yuletide toke
And party  with old Santa  in the sky

Just last week  I was drinking  in a barroom
And I picked  the wrong girl  to hit on
I heard the words,  "too much to drink"
And her boyfriend hit me with a kitchen sink
And he kicked that boney thing  I use  to sit on

And so I'm  going to Colorado  for Christmas

I used to let my life  roll right down  the river
Now I let it all go up in smoke
But that's alright by me
Cause drinking beer  just makes me pee
And smoking weed  makes me feel like toast
