Oved Pinchover is a composer, musician, and a saxophone player from Isreal who has a degree from the Jerusalem Academy of Music and Dance, Faculty of Cross-Disciplinary Music, and Performing Arts. For over three years, Oved has been leading a band, recording albums, and performing often. Oved has participated in a large number of musical projects as a player and producer like "Castel In Time Orchestra" Sponsored by Avichai Foundation.
The Oved Pinchover Quintet set its goal to enter the heart of the listener through Jazz-Contemporary music. Their repertoire consists of original tunes composed by Oved Pinchover, together with new interpretations of Classical music and Jazz masterpieces. The group consists of five individuals who met in downtown Berlin, and together they endeavor to communicate their writing and working process with the audience. They have gathered as a quintet composed of three Berliners, one Japanese and one Israeli. Together and through their music, they reflect the multicultural voice, so prominent in the city of Berlin, that of the quintet known as "Tango Klezmer Blues" style.

I found this Ravel’s composition, unusually ahead of its time. The melodic line is beyond beginning and ending. Together with the comping its taking us to atmosphere of some Ancient tribe. In my performance to Zefki, my aim is to share the experience of prayer in the large halls of European Synagogues and Cathedrals, that produce uniqe echo.
