With 10,000 Facebook fans, and charting on Billboard in Aug 2021 for her Rock album, "Love on the Rocks," Lauren Anderson cites iconic influences from Chicago, where she grew up. Admiring artists like The Pointer Sisters and Whitney Houston, Lauren was classically trained and obtained a Bachelor in Voice. She released her first full-length album in 2015, centering around Rock and Soul genres. In 2016, she worked on two singles with Sean Michael Kelly (previously with 'Six Pence None The Richer'), recorded at the legendary Ocean Way Studio.
In 2015, along with the release of her first full-length album, "Truly Me," Lauren Anderson won "Female Vocalist of the Year" through the Midwest Music Awards. Her song "Close" was also nominated for Best Song of the Year as well. Her album also placed in the Top five albums of the year through Pitch Music Awards in Kansas City, where she wrote and recorded the album. Mike Warren remarks, "...
