New York-based duo The Rightly So is comprised of gifted guitarist Gregory Zeis and award-winning Singer-Songwriter Jess Chizuk. Merging classic, down-home Americana with elements of Contemporary Folk, they produce tasteful guitar riffs, blended harmonies, and well-crafted lyrics. The duo has performed with Howie Day, Phoebe Hunt & The Gatherers, Dylan Jakobsen, Cory Branan, the Vandoliers, and Davina and The Vagabonds. The Rightly So were featured on NPR affiliates in Amarillo and Grand Junction and on Knoxville Radio’s Blue Plate Special.
Born in the heart of the Buffalo rust belt but refined on the back roads of America, The Rightly So brings a vibrant energy to Americana music. The acoustic duo have taken their modern Folk music on the road for the last two years, living and touring out of their homemade RV full-time. They have played 100 plus shows each year for the last five years including five national tours, and they have performed with Howie Day, Phoebe Hunt & The Gatherers, Cory Branan, the Vandoliers, Dylan Jakobsen, Davina and the Vagabonds, and Sean Patrick McGraw.
