Lucas Ariza Manzano is a professional musician, bassist, guitarist, audio producer, and music teacher from Colombia who creates in Rock, Pop, Jazz, Electro, Instrumental, and World genres. As a music producer and sound designer, he has participated in projects with clients such as Cinemax, Canal Capital, RTVC, IFEMA (Madrid), Sarantos (Chicago), Teatro Libre, Grey, Inmov, Nestlé, Ogilvy, Milagros, Universidad El Bosque, and many others. Lucas is the creator of a new method to read musical rhythm called Time Ø.
Lucas Ariza Manzano was born in the city of Bogotá in 1981 and has always seen himself as an artist who seeks paths different from the common one. He has participated in projects that have won incentives for the arts with plays such as Búfalo Americano by the Santo Films company, Los Justos by the Entretensiones theater company; dance with Hybris and Junisa from the Dromos Project dance company; the documentary Clara from the production company Máquina Andante Media Lab, the animated mini web series De Cartas Corazón from the production company Quinto Color, the documentary Francisco from Canal 13 about the visit of Pope Francis to Colombia, which was nominated for Best Documentary for TV in the India Catalina of 2020, the animated series for early childhood Cuentazos con Efectazos by Lapost Studio currently broadcast by Señal Colombia, winner of festivals and contests in Colombia, Bolivia, Brazil, finalists in the 2018 Japan Prize in the pre-school category, winners of the Kidscreen of the United States in the pre-school category with mixed technique of the year 2021 and a special mention at the V Latin American Animation Festival, Anima Latina 2021.
