Composer Toby Tune sits high on a mountaintop overlooking the Pacific Ocean from his home in Costa Rica, watching the eagles soar overhead and writing tunes in all genres. Not a bad gig! Of particular interest are his beautiful New Age tracks, as elegant and dreamy as a sunset and equally as relaxing. Toby's orchestral music is sometimes mellow and often fun and quirky. His music has been heard on HGTV and in Target commercials and documentaries, and he won best score in the New York International Film festival for "Doggie Adventure."
Toby Tune was winner in the Broadjam 6-Pack for 5 years in a row, and one of his songs was featured in Mad Men (Season 6 - Episode 4).
Starting off with a backwards echo on ethereal chords, the lively percussion comes in and the groove begins. The main lead is a combination of panpipe, electric piano & some other things. The orchestral sound of strings and solo violin and a live upright bass, this piece is infectious. Instrumental, Pop, Pop Groove
This is an infectious groove starting with a wah wah phased electric guitar. Then a lead guitar comes in. This is followed by some choppy strings and then the lead guitar joins in. The piece sticks in your head! Instrumental, Pop, Pop Groove
A very beautiful but sad song about love found and love lost. Backed by a small string section. Fitting for sad, dramatic, hurting, depressed scenes. Female Vocals, Pop, Pop Ballad
This 60 second spot is great for background for a TV or radio spot. Starts of with a little drama of anticipation and then the oboe comes in with a pleasant melody followed by an upbeat guitar rhythm and -with a whoosh- comes the percussion and French Horn ending with a happy button. Instrumental, Pop, Easy Listening
This is a story of a loser who picks up a girl and never sees her again although he keeps trying to get a date with her. He is obsessed but never gets together. Male Vocals, Pop, Pop Underground
A funky synth rhythm track with a very groovy violin player giving this track a mood that would work for almost any active scene. (Seinfeld synth bass sound), Instrumental, Pop, Pop Groove
A song about Jazzy's Riverside Restaurant in Costa Rica. A fun place for food and music jams in the evening. Pretty much a true story of what happens down there. Male vocal with happy back up band and girl background singers. Mixed Vocals, Pop, Tropical Rock
A comedy spoof on country songs in general. Male vocal sings about picking up girls in a bar, has no luck. This comic piece is fitting for soundtracks, shows, and more. Male Vocals, Pop, Quirky Pop
