Born and raised in Chicago, Jimmy Reid headed west to attend USC's prestigious Thornton School of Music, and has been in demand ever since. Whether playing soulful sax, ambient textures, Hip-Hop or composing dramatic symphonic film scores, cues or interludes, Jimmy’s compositions have also been used successfully for corporate "branding" of a broad spectrum of products across varying demographics. Jim's recent influences include John Williams, Danny Elfman, Hans Zimmer, and Alan Silvestri. Performing credits include David Foster, Michael Buble, Josh Groban, Brian McKnight, Eric Benet, Deborah Cox, Ruben Studdard, Philip Bailey, Sly and the Family Stone, Rufus, and others.
