With a unique blend of Progressive Rock, Nu-Jazz, New Age, and Native American flute, composer and keyboardist Lisa LaRue is a recipient of the Oklahoma Music Award's Native American Artist of the Year (2008). With an impressive release background, she has co-written, worked, and recorded with artists such as John Payne (Asia ft. JP), Michael Sadler (Saga), Ryo Okumotu (Kitaro, Spock's Beard), Oliver Wakeman (Yes), and others. Lisa is a member of the Federally-recognized United Keetoowah Band of Cherokee Indians in Oklahoma.
