Chris Whatley is a composer based in Tokyo, Japan. His music and productions have appeared in a wealth of productions, from TV & movies, to videogames and corporate videos.
Chris creates music that crosses musical borders. He has written/recorded/remixed music in a wide range of genres, and continually strives to create new sounds of his own that fuse different aspects of several genres into fresh sounding music.
Recently, Chris’ music (as solo artist “Wotlie”) has appeared in several network TV shows including Desperate Housewives (ABC), Heroes (NBC), Life (NBC), Everwood (ABC). In 2009, his compositions also appeared in the movie Welcome To Academia, and the videogames ProEvolution Soccer and Guitar Freaks/Drum Mania.
