The Cucumbers blend twin riffing guitars over driving rhythmic rock beats with girl group charm, pop impulses and fresh harmonies. They perform as a live, high-energy electric rock band and in smaller intimate settings as an acoustic ensemble. The Cucumbers songs are tales of love's desires, twists and connections. Each of their songs will ride all of your emotions without a twinge of effort. Anchored by husband and wife team Deena Shoshkes (Guitar and Vocals) and Jon Fried (Guitar and Vocals) and newer additions Kurt Wrobel (Bass) and Steve Villano (Drums), they continue to


play around the country to ecstatic fans while receiving accolades from high atop the rock critic mountain. The Cucumbers album "All Things to You", released in 2004, was recorded by Tom Lucas at "Just In Dreams Studios" and also at their home studio the "J" Club. The new album was engineered and mixed by Roger Moutenot (Sleater-Kenney, They Might Be Giants) who has worked on virtually every one of their records.
