A dyslexic left-handed keyboard player who used to play the tuba, Georgia artist Tom Rule is a bit of an odd duck! Classically trained with degrees in Piano Performance, he performs, writes, and records in styles ranging from Classical and Jazz to Rock, Country, New Age, Electronica, and more. Tom has credits on over a dozen albums - including a couple of Grammy nominees - and he is simply as eclectic as they come. His diverse material is great for a big variety of Film, TV, Commercial, and Multimedia projects.
Tom Rule's album credits include Tom Rule: Accessible Depth, tom&co: Brethren, Seasons, Cathead Dooley: Yours Truly Cathead Dooley, Skeebo Knight: Jekyll Island Nights, The Blessed Blend: Journey Through the Mist, Joey Stuckey: The Shadow Sound, Joey Stuckey: Oceanside, Joey Stuckey: MIXTURE, Aimee Sears: With Love at Christmas (keyboards and arrangements on Ave Maria, Brahms Lullaby/Away in a Manger, and Angels We have Heard on High), David Klee: Mi Bonita, and Ed Grisamore: Gris & That [audiobook].
midtempo track oozing with the Friday afternoon time to shutdown for the weekend feeling. Low level energy, peaceful pads, low drums. Tired & resting, recharging the batteries, sitting outside with a cool drink in the quiet - or maybe you are in the boat, alone, fishing, with no one else in view. Instrumental, Themes, Shopping
constantly shifting soundscape behind face level drums and pulsing bass along with some not obvious pads that keep things moving yet are unobtrusive. Several clips and formats and tempos available. Ragged, raw, electronic, dubstep inspired and interesting. Instrumental, Electronic, Progressive Electronic
4 on the floor but with some sonic surprises constantly shifting into new territory. Good for constantly shifting ultra-modern setups with wild anticipation of what's to come. You just don't know what is down the road thump thump thump thump here it comes wait there it goes thump thump electronica, Instrumental, Electronic, Big Beat
Perky, trippy, electro tune with computer voice sound effects saying up down left right. Sounds like 8 bit videogame music. Rhythmic, unchanging bed and bass line, until it changes just to make things interesting. Ending is epic and sounds like things are going haywire. Ends with explosion. Instrumental, Electronic, Video Game Music
Blips. Bleeps, Drones, sound effects, part rhythmic, part not. Look at track title for an idea of the differences between tracks. Great for anything futuristic, animatronic, repetitive, or off-kilter and futuristic. Busy yet peaceful. Consonant, yet dissonant. Ambient yet energetic. Take a listen!
