Based in the Dominican Republic, Josean Jacobo is currently Pianist and Bandleader of the Afro-Dominican Jazz Quartet "Josean Jacobo & Tumbao." His vibrant and cinematic compositions provide audiences with original and innovative waves of music adorned with explosive Latin and Jazz colors. Josean's debut album “Setting Things in Order” artfully blends rhythms from the Dominican with other sounds within the Jazz, Avant-garde, and Dramatic genres. He studied Jazz Composition at the Berklee College of Music and Film Scoring in Argentina.
