With such cold wintry weather blowing in around many parts of the world, coffee isn't just the world's favorite beverage. In fact, 25 million people around the globe depend on coffee for their livelihood -- and in the sovereign state of Rwanda, it is the most important processed product, valued for its rarity and quality.
This short film explores the mystery behind a "rotten potato" taste that threatened this important crop and how the LINK Network created by the Global Knowledge Initiative (GKI) found a solution.

Coming in at 2.29 min., Alec Makinson's "African Heartland (Perc Mix)" picks up the pace as the pest behind the problem, a small bug, is identified: African Heartland (Perc Mix)
