In the world of long-distance running, Steve Prefontaine is a legend, known to his fans as "Pre." In the late 1960s and early '70s, he dominated the sport, setting 14 American records in distances from 2,000 to 10,000 meters. Pre competed in the 1972 Summer Olympics and was training for the 1976 games when his life ended tragically at 24, in an auto accident in Eugene, Oregon. Producers Travis Johnson, Brad Jenkins, and Storyteller Productions have produced "PRE's PEOPLE," a compelling documentary about the people of Coos Bay, Oregon who shaped Steve Prefontaine and keep his legend alive.
Although Stock Music Site music is not heard in the dramatic trailer for this excellent film, nine tracks by our talented composers were licensed to supplement the film's original soundtrack, including:
