Mark Knox’s music has been covered by Norman Conners, Grover Washington Jr., Bob Thompson, Gerald Veasley and others. He’s been involved in such world-class associations as The Philadelphia Orchestra, Standing in the Shadows of Motown, Kang & Lee Advertising, Clear Channel, and Carsey-Werner. Mark's compositions appear in many commercials, films, CD's, and corporate campaigns. As a composer, arranger, keyboardist, producer, and audio engineer, his unique perspective on "both sides of the glass" is evident in his remarkably diverse music.
On the other side of that glass, Mark was the recording engineer on two Grammy-nominated albums and has produced TV and radio commercials for Coca-Cola, Budget, Ford, Kia, Comcast, and Yuengling Bros. Brewery. He has mixed and mastered over 100 various CDs for many well-known recording artists.
Mark has been involved with well-known projects and organizations, including “Standing in the Shadows of Motown,” “You Bet Your Life with Bill Cosby,” The Philadelphia Orchestra, The Philly Pops, The Opera Company of Philadelphia, "The Hamster Factor and Other Tales of Twelve Monkeys," and many other high-profile productions, publications, and events.
Mark's CD of original compositions entitled "Places" was released worldwide in 2006 and garnered many positive reviews from Jazz critics. As Keyboardist, Composer, and Co-Producer, Mark has appeared on 9 of Gerald Veasley's CD releases. As an established arranger, MIDI programmer, and virtual orchestra arranger, his realistic acoustic and orchestral arrangements stand out in his various works as well as other artists projects including composing and arranging a "virtual pit orchestra" for several theater companies.
