Based in the UK, Al Branton has been a professional musician for over 10 years. His education included London's Tech Music School, as well as private lessons from musical composer Sami Hammi and Spencer Davis Group drummer Pete York. After having worked in wide areas ranging from classical to modern music, Al's versatility shines through in his own unique style. His compositions are an eclectic blend of Steve Hackett and Hans Zimmer with a little bit of Paco de Lucia and Ravi Shankar.
Al Branton has worked as a drummer for Folk artist Ruth Theodore, the Hillingdon Philharmonic Orchestra, and Rock bands This Early Autumn and Halloween Jack. His current band The Freedom Police enables him to express his unlimited diversity. Al has also taken part in workshops with fellow drummers Mark Schulman and Ricky Lawson.
You wake up in the early hours on a sleeper train and find yourself traveling through the countryside where you see various wildlife racing and different types of birds flying alongside, as a yellow sky dawns ahead.
