After 25 years performing Gospel R&B music at numerous youth concerts, composer and keyboardist Keith Lynch is combining these earlier influences with Acid Jazz and Funk, to create inventive fusions of dramatic music for TV, films and documentaries. Following a 1980s love affair with synthesizers, Keith took classical piano lessons, concentrating on the jazzy chords and freestyle vamping that today infuse his Ambient and Jazz tracks with a theatrical flair. In addition to making mellow and inspirational soundtracks, Keith exhibits a touch of freak and fright in his Sci Fi cues.
Keith Lynch’s ability to adapt is no more apparent then his earlier choice to focus on gospel R&B music. For 25 years, he played regularly and built a fan base through performances at hundreds of religious youth events, supporting award winning Gospel recording artists, and featuring on Integrity Music and the TimeLife Gospel recordings label.
In 2005, Keith played keyboard/synthesizer on a United Gospel performance CD, Lift You Up, provided backup for live artists like Robin Mark on his 2000 ‘Revival in Belfast’ album, and performed regularly on the Gospel scene. Recently, Keith moved to Brisbane and is getting back into his love for R&B, and down tempo Acid Jazz and Funk. He is assembling a group of talented and like-minded musicians to drum up a little excitement for showcasing his original sounds through blended genres and styles so admired by filmmakers and music supervisors around the world.
