Mari, a Singer-Songwriter based in Nairobi, Kenya, makes conscious music (music with a message relating to everyday life experiences). He has appeared and featured his work on some of Africa's largest TV networks. The 2021 Rampage Music Awards nominee has had his music dominate in Indie charts regionally and internationally. His music has reached audiences in over 130 countries worldwide, across continents from Africa to Europe, North America to South America, and Asia to Australia.


Mari's achievements include the 2021 Rampage Music Awards Nominee: Best Male Vocalist – Pop Category, Entertainer of the Year – Multi-Genre Category (based on live performances.) His song Break of Dawn was featured as the soundtrack for the movie Flowers & Bricks on M-Net, one of Africa's largest TV networks. Mari was featured on Raw Sessions, a show that featured outstanding talent in the region, which aired popularly on Zuku TV networks in the Eastern and Southern African regions. He was among 30 songwriters in East Africa to participate in The Cookout Eastern Africa 2021, a songwriting Master Class hosted by 6x Grammy-nominated artist/producer Vincent Berry II.
