Massachusetts artist Niagara Moon is led by Thomas Erwin, a Classically trained songwriter and producer. For over a decade, the band has composed hundreds of songs in multiple genres, including Ambient, Jazz, Electronic, Pop, and Rock. Their carefully-crafted mood pieces evoke the work of composers such as Brian Eno, while their lushly arranged Indie-Pop songs combine the intricate melodies of The Beach Boys with the modern style of artists such as Ben Folds and Mac Demarco -- earning them thousands of fans worldwide.
For Niagara Moon, Thomas Erwin composes all parts entirely by himself. His work showcases a smorgasbord of Retro and Modern Pop influences, tender harmonies, and a unique whimsicality.
Before his Niagara Moon project, he led a popular band in Kyoto, Japan called Otadehan. Heavily influenced by 1970's Japanese Pop/Rock, the band wrote and performed songs in both Japanese and English.
