Ricky Blair is a gifted musician from Ohio who has been writing and producing for over 18 years. He has perfected his skills by producing albums and singles for himself and for local artists - acquiring over 300,000 streams to date. He creates in a variety of genres such as RnB, Hip Hop, Soft Pop, and Gospel, and he served as a sound engineer on several projects. Ricky crafts well-written, heartfelt music that captivates the listener within moments, and his tracks are perfect for TV, film, contemporary dramas, commercials, and much more.
Ricky Blair developed his love for music at a young age. He taught himself to play the piano at age 9 and also learned to play trumpet in school. At age 12 he began writing and producing music. Ricky produced his first full album of 11 songs at age 15 for an artist based in North Carolina. He went on to produce albums for other artists where he was able to perfect his skill as a songwriter, producer, and sound engineer. He was greatly influenced by producers and artists on YouTube such as Ryan Leslie, Timbaland, and Kanye West. His instrumentation and soul originate from the influences of Earth, Wind & Fire and Quincy Jones. Ricky has an extensive catalog of released as well as unreleased music.
