Tod Demuth
From New Age to Dixieland, and Honky Tonk to Classical, Kansas musician, composer and arranger Tod Demuth offers an important vitality and variety in his great piano music. His career has included playing in Jazz combos, Top 40, Big Band, show bands and Country Bands, as well as formal studies in piano and composition. His music is a beautiful reflection of much of America’s finest and most revered music from various eras of our history. Tod’s music has been featured in films and other ventures, including Cinemadog Productions, LA Theatre Works and the Vancouver Film School.
Tod Demuth's recordings reflect his vast musical experience, from meditative solo piano music such as George Winston, Jim Brickman and Yanni, to the Delta/Dixieland Jazz of Professor Longhair, Marcia Ball and Doctor John, to contemporary arrangements of hymns and folk songs that show the emotional side of the piano much in the way of Chopin, Schubert and other Romantic composers.
