With 30 years in the music business, US artist Ron Leonardi is a keyboardist, pianist, and performer who has composed music for feature films like “Read Me," "Average Community," and "Skippy Lightfoot's Perfect Day," along with several documentaries. After attending Berklee College in Boston, he picked up a degree in Jazz Piano Performance from Cornish College of the Arts, in Seattle. Currently performing with several Seattle-area bands, Ron also produces and arranges music for several singers and songwriters in the Pacific Northwest.
Ron Leonardi composed the scores for several independent films including "Entering Wendy" and "A Tale of Two Megans." The documentary film, "Average Community," scored by Ron Leonardi, won Audience Choice Award for best documentary at the CMJ Film Festival in NYC in 2010, and Best Music Documentary at the Philadelphia Independent Film Festival, 2010. Ron's latest film score, "Read Me," is currently playing at the Queens Film Festival in NYC. Ron also produces and arranges for a variety of Pacific NW singer/songwriters.
