Abby Mettry is a classically trained concert pianist (B. M., M. M., Piano Performance). Her piano playing has been recorded in Nashville studios, and her music has been used on Fox Network, Netflix, Freeform, CBS, Amazon, films, and projects across all types of media. She has studied and performed with the world-wide renowned Toradze Piano Studio, led by acclaimed concert pianist Alexander Toradze. Abby specializes in Classical pieces and solo piano.
Abby Mettry taught herself how to play the piano at the age of five and went on to study piano with Julliard graduate Judith Petersen. She won local and state competitions and earned a Bachelor of Music degree in piano performance. Abby earned a Master's degree in Piano Performance with the renowned Toradze Piano Studio at Indiana University in South Bend. She taught piano as adjunct faculty while studying under concert pianists Ketevan Badridze and Alexander Toradze. Abby relocated to Nashville and taught piano at Belmont University School of Music.
