Hollowed Sky (Indie Rock Tracks)Home: Maryland USA Maryland’s Hollowed Sky, a Rock, Alternative, Hard Rock, and Metal group was formed in 2016. The band members were just looking to jam, but after the first session, they knew they were on to something. Their self-titled debut EP received tens of thousands of streams and positive reviews. Their motto is divide and conquer, and the myriad possibilities for these talented rockers is evident in their second EP "Strings" released in 2020. Hollowed Sky members are: Stephen Berchielli (guitar, backing vocals); Joe Bradshaw (drums); Jay Orem (lead vocals), and Charles Rupertus (bass). How we see ourselves: Berchielli: Melodic alternative rock with a metal edge. Rhythmically interesting, yet accessible. We are passionate, and we like to think we are uncompromising. We write the music we want to make, period. Bradshaw: Just people writing music in a basement. And it clicked. Orem: Old time hard rock. Rupertus: Metal, Rock, Funk, and Progressive Rock. I love changing up the rhythms and throwing people off!
