Based in England, Alan Gillis is a seasoned Country, Rock, and Lounge Jazz composer and producer who has been writing music for over 50 years. He signed his first publishing deal in 1965 and played lead guitar in a number of bands. During the ‘60s he recorded at Abbey Road and worked with various top artists including Tom Jones, Del Shannon, The Hollies, and many others. Alan’s original songs feature his heartfelt lyrics and showcase his talent as a vocalist, instrumentalist, and storyteller.
Alan Gillis formed his first band at age 16 and they signed for Columbia, part of EMI group and recorded at Abbey Road.
