Philip Curran Project is a UK composer who creates in Dramatic, Orchestral, Electronic, Indie, Ambient, Rock, and Pop genres. James Horner, Howard Shore, Hans Zimmer, David Newman, Mark Isham, and John Williams are just a handful of composers who have been a great inspiration and influence on his life as a composer. Philip played lead guitar in a Rock band, and after graduating from Napier University with a degree in Music, he decided to go solo, and he began writing music for Film, TV, Commercials, Documentaries, and Corporate Videos.
Philip Curran writes in his own home grown studio, working long hours with nothing but his guitar, some paper, and a computer. Heaven! Along the way, he has composed music for TV commercials, documentaries, corporate videos, and short films. But of all the different forms of media he writes for, feature films are his favorite. Philip is a massive fan of films and music, so it's the perfect combination for him. Philip believes that music has the power to make an average film good, a good film great, and a great film even greater!
