Originally from Ohio, Boostylz, started writing songs at an early age, and today writes songs for artists like Stephanie Mills, LL Cool J, the group Swami (UK), Rob Fasari (producer of Destiny's Child). Currently, she has written a hot new album for an up and coming group called Rok Fairies, which is being managed and developed by Kurt Woodley (previous head of A&R at Uptown Records) and PDiddy mentor growing up, listening to artists like Brian Mcknight, Stevie Wonder, and Whitney Houston, among others, she naturally gravitated towards pop/r&b in developing her own vocal style. Dealing with the pressures from leaving home at an early age to follow a more practical career path in New York, Boostylz decided to follow her heart, and her love for music.
