John Bowden is a natural-born lefty. When he was very young, an instructor encouraged him to play using a right hand jazz guitar. Reluctantly, he obliged and learned to play guitar that way. After mastering the right hand guitar, he took up the left hand guitar. Learning to play left-handed came naturally, but a lot of practice was required to get it down. Finally, he decided to try something different by playing both at the same time. John Bowden is such a natural talent, and today he not only enjoys, but prefers, this style of playing over playing just one guitar.
