Steve Taylor is an original artist who has composed music used in a variety of international projects. He is a three-time instrumental songwriting winner at the Winfield Music Festival, and his composition of "Evening Rain" was selected for a classical guitar album. His songs have been used for in-house productions by Hallmark and e-cards by DaySpring. Having won several competitions in classical guitar, Steve has studied this craft with several world class artists including Christopher Parkening.
Steve Taylor's original compositions; "Skipping Stones," "On Eagles Wings," and "Free Flight" have each won 1st place in the instrumental category of the New Song Contest at the Winfield Music Festival. His song "Evening Rain" was selected for use in the classical guitar album "Classical Guitar III" and his original song "You're A Part Of Me" has also placed in contests. A popular song, "You're A Part Of Me" was recently used as special music at an event in Switzerland. Steve additionally received numerous first place ratings in the Neo-Classical category for original music at other internet sites. Impressively, Steve performed several guitar solos on Dave Panico's smooth Jazz CD - Joy Rid'n and his melodic and beautiful guitar playing can be found in multiple original works by other artists.
