Drawing inspiration from the realms of classical and New Age music, Matthew Burgher crafts compositions that stand as diverse and captivating as the winds of a storm. Like a canvas of dreams, his compositions span from soaring orchestral symphonies to serene piano tracks, evoking emotions of warmth and passion. Garnering international acclaim, professional pianist Jim Guerin shares “I was doing yoga while listening, and actually got lost in the music," and Polish producer Patu said “I found harmony and peace here. You’re doing rare music. ”
Coming from a musical heritage, Matthew plays both piano and drums, having produced music in a variety of styles ranging from electronic new wave, to heavy metal, to classical influenced film orchestration. He has performed concerts with many artists, and his early heavy metal band was well reviewed in music publications including Metal Maniacs, and received “Best Atlanta Metal Band” for 1999.
Matthew reveals some of his most intimate musical work under the name Haddorff, composing piano, electronic, and orchestra-based instrumental music. His music is both heartwarming and passionate, and his signature can be found in award-winning films, commercials and television spots. Charitable causes are also a priority to Matthew, with musical entertainment in community events, churches, and special care facilities, as well as music license contributions for global aid, world peace, and environmental awareness causes.
"The South Downs" was the debut album release for Haddorff in 2005. Haddorff music can also be found in over 70 music compilations internationally.
