Composer, producer and visual artist, Juan Pablo Zaragoza hails from Spain and works in a number of styles and genres, including Jazz, Flamenco, Contemporary, and World Music. His dramatic full orchestrations have enhanced the cinematic images for numerous TV, film, documentaries, video games, and various multimedia productions. In addition, Juan Pablo's music has been used extensively in advertising campaigns, radio, corporate branding projects, productions by TVE, UA, MARQ, and by other worldwide entities such as cultural institutions, universities, and museums.
Juan Pablo Zaragoza began his musical studies at the Superior Conservatory of Music of Alicante. His interest in new musical styles introduced him to electronic music with the addition of midi guitar and synthesizers with different groups that blend styles such as Jazz, Flamenco, World Music, Contemporary, etc.
Juan Pablo pursued his studies in composition, orchestration, arrangement, production, and computer music applications to develop his work on film soundtracks. He investigates actually with electronic and contemporary music. His soundtracks have been featured often in numerous films and television, advertising, corporate image, and multimedia.
Among his many activities, Juan Palbo participated in the XII International Electro Acoustic Music Festival Spring in Havana, Cuba, where his work "Transmosfera" (video and electronics) was presented. He had earlier created "Transmosfera" at the LIEM-CDMC (Laboratory Computing and Electronic Music Distribution Centre of Contemporary Music) in the Art Center Reina Sofia, in Madrid.
