John Catney started in music in 1975 at the age of 12. In 1981, he was recruited by the Army and was sent to the Armed Forces Music Academy in Norfolk, Virginia for advanced training in music. After graduating in 1982, he was sent to the 1st Infantry Division at Ft. Riley, Kansas, where he performed in Parade, Jazz, and Rock tour bands as a sax and flute performer backing artists like Lou Rawls, the S. O. S. Band, One Way, and others. John's music has been placed in Music Videos, TV Pilots, Commercials, PC Games, and Independent Films.
John Catney started as a professional musician after graduating from The Army School of Music in Virginia. During the late '80s and '90s he worked in-house for RAW Entertainment writing music for demos and games. John began writing and producing CD's in the late '90s. During that time he has collaborated with other artists including Palancar, Brad Young, Lorraine Washburn, Robin Guthrie, and Laura Sullivan's 900 Voices Project.
John loves to play the Grand Turismo game and loves to hear the music in that game, so this is was a idea for a song that would fit in the game. Having been a music programmer for over a decade, this project was particularly a fun project! Instrumental, Electronic, Electropop
