Trevor John has been producing and composing music since the age of 16. He fell in love with the guitar at age 11, started basic lessons, and his first band was into Heavy Metal. While growing up on the small island of Malta, Trevor's dream was to be a rock legend, and having a British passport was the gateway for his long life dream. After performing with a British Thrash Metal band in England, he missed Malta's warm weather and returned home. Today Trevor works in his studio there and is back to songwriting and music production
Trying to fulfill a childhood dream, Trevor John caught the eye of a dance recording studio in England, and was quickly taken in with an exciting new British Thrash Metal band, M'usart. The head honcho of the band, heralded as one of the finest guitar players and writers, began forming an entire band from scratch. However, finding equally great musicians was proving to be a task within itself.
Trevor refused the option of using session players and subsequently the three band members disbanded. Trevor stayed with M'usart and looked into other areas of the music industry and went on to work in live events as a roadie, promoter,and also taking care of running some rehearsal rooms in Wolverhampton. After 9 years, Trevor finally pted for a change in life and returned to Malta and its warm weather. Life, he reports, is now very exciting and more settled, allowing him to be creative each day without the exhaustion of performing and working with a band.
