Peter Prince began his musical career-playing guitar with folk groups in Greenwich Village during the 60's and early 70's. Peter's first songwriting project, "Inspired", a collection of folk/country tunes it was released in 2001. Even before "Inspired", Peter had earned notable recognition as a songwriter, including the presentation of "Miracle Drive (Ballad Of The '69 Mets)" (Track 13, on ""Inspired"") set to video by the New York Mets and presented on Diamond Vision at Shea Stadium in 1994 and 1999. "Miracle Drive" was also, featured on Fox Sport Net and WFAN Sports Radio.
In addition to sports media, his music is, also, broadcast on WFDU Radio, 89.1 FM in NYC and NJ. His most recent release, entitled "BULLDOG", is a collection of songs written by Peter and sung by two talented Nashville vocalists, Dave Brooks and Ronnie Kimball. On fiddle on "Danglin' Over Fire", song #1 (sung by Brooks), is Tigar Bell of the Ricky Van Shelton band and jack-of-all-trades, Galen Breen (Gator Hole Studio, Nashville) plays guitar, mandolin, mouth harp, keyboards, produced and engineered the album. Song #2, "Bulldog", the title track sung by Ronnie Kimball, is about a girl and her best friend. The producer of the CD has spent more than ten years in Nashville working with the likes of Buddy Jewell and Dusty Drake before they were signed to major labels.
A special song on the CD (song # 3) is "The Ultimate Sacrifice", (Kimball) inspired by the tragic death of Mary Ann Collura, Fair Lawn, NJ's first female police officer. An eighteen year veteran, she was gunned down by a drug dealer April 17, 2003, when she came to assist a fellow officer. Her killer fled and was tracked down and killed by the Florida police, and the story received
